Scheduling Service

+ How do I sign up?

Visit, select your employer or office park address from the drop down, fill in the details about your vehicle, and select your services!

+ What if I need my car during the day?

During scheduling we ask you to tell us the hours you’ll be at the office so that we can work adequately around your arrival and departure schedule. In the case of an unexpected need of your vehicle, you can call or text us and we’ll bring you your vehicle! You’ll receive a reminder text the morning of your service and can reply to that number.

+ How do I reschedule/cancel my appointment?

To reschedule, go to, sign in and click the “Reschedule” button. We do not have a cancellation policy. We just ask that you let us know as soon as you do need to cancel so that we have an opportunity to fill your slot for that day.

Paying for service

+ How do I pay for Zippity services?

After you have selected your services, you check out using your credit or debit card.

+ When am I charged for the service?

Once the service is complete. You will receive a copy of your receipt via email and your credit card will be charged at 7pm.

+ How do I change my payment method?

Go to, sign in and click the “Update payment method” button.

+ Some services say “Starting at $149”. What does this mean?

Services like Brakes require us to inspect the condition of your components in order to provide a more accurate quote. For any service that has variable pricing, we will contact you on the day of service to provide a more accurate quote and get your authorization for any additional charges.

+ Are there any additional fees like a convenience or travel fee?

There are no convenience fees. However, in order to ensure proper disposal of hazardous spent fluids, parts, and other materials, Zippity charges a small Supplies and Environmental Disposal fee. This fee is 10% of parts sales (up to a maximum of $20.00). Zippity recycles all materials in accordance with the relevant state regulations. The total price including all parts, labor, and environmental fees, will be visible on the checkout page, so there will be no surprises!

+ Do you offer any promotions?

Yes! We offer $15 off your first service for first-time customers. We also have a referral program where you can get rewarded for sharing the joy of convenient car care with your colleagues. Check out our promotions page for other seasonal promotions.

Service Day

+ How do I check in?

On the morning of your service, you will receive an email prompting you to check in. Once you’ve parked your car and dropped your keys, please click the “check-in” button in your email to help let us know that your car is ready for service.

+ Where do I park?

Park in the Zippity designated spots in your office parking lot, as shown in the map in your service confirmation and reminder emails. These spots will typically be marked with orange cones or other signage. There will be approximately 8 spots. You can park in any one of them. Once your service is complete, we will return your car to this same area.

+ Where do I drop my keys?

Drop your keys in the secure Zippity Keyosk, typically located in the lobby of your office building. On your service day, you will receive an email with details about the exact location of the Keyosk and which number box to place your key in. Leave your key and take the key from the lockbox with you. We will notify you when your service is complete and your keys are back in the box at the end of the day.

+ How do I change my arrival or leaving time?

To update the time you get into work or need to leave work, go to, sign in and click the “Reschedule” button.

+ Where is my car being serviced?

We provide all service within the parking lot of your employer. Our services are performed in our service bays inside our mobile service trailer.

+ Do you carry insurance?

Of course! Like any reputable mechanic shop, we carry the proper insurance so that if there were to be an accident (we train extensively to avoid any and all), you’re covered.


+ How does the Diagnostic Service work?

You tell us what you're experiencing. We'll inspect your vehicle, report our findings, and provide upfront pricing for recommended services. Given our recommendations, you decide what work our technicians should perform. We have capabilities similar to traditional auto garages and can address most car maintenance and repair needs. A $25 minimum applies to all diagnostic service bookings.

+ What’s included in the 12-Point Health Check?

It's hard to proactively stay on top of your car's health. We do this for you by providing a free Zippity Health Check with every Zippity service. We inspect:

  • Anti-freeze/coolant levels
  • Battery condition
  • Brakes condition
  • Engine Oil
  • Exterior Light function
  • Filter condition
  • Heater & Defroster function
  • Serpentine Belt Condition
  • Tire Pressure
  • Tire Tread Conditions
  • Wiper blade conditions
  • Wiper Fluid Levels

Once your Health Check is complete, we send a digital copy of the results (including photos of the parts and systems we inspect) directly to your inbox so you can see the results and keep excellent service records.

+ When will Zippity suggest additional services?

We only recommend items for replacement when they are below industry standard specifications. Here are the standards we follow:

Brake Pads: We suggest replacing your brake pads when The friction material is at 3 Millimeters (MM) or below.We will provide you with photos of the brake pad friction material and the tool used to measure the thickness in the health check.

Battery: We test each Battery with a Midtronics MDX-P300 analyzer. The tester monitors and tests the each battery cell and provides you with a detailed Battery testing profile. We will provide a copy of the detailed test if the battery fails the test in the health check.

Filters: We recommend filters when they are clogged with Pollen, dirt or debris. We will provide you with photos in the health check

Wipers: We test the wipers during each health check. Our technicians look for abnormal streaking, wear or tears in the rubber wiper blade.

+ Does Zippity offer state inspections?

Due to state regulatory restrictions, we are not able to offer state inspections currently. Enter your name into this form and we’ll let you know as soon as we are able to offer inspections!

+ What type of oil do you use?

Zippity uses Castrol Oil.

+ How much does an oil change cost?

Conventional: $39.95

Synthetic: $54.95

There will be an additional $6/quart if your vehicle takes more than 5 quarts. Most vehicles do not need more than 5 quarts.

+ Can I supply my own oil?

Yes, you are welcome to supply your own oil. However, we charge $25 for the labor of an oil change.

+ Do you clean pet hair during the interior car clean?

Yes, we will do our best! However, pet hair is incredibly difficult to remove from many types of upholstery and we cannot guarantee complete removal.

+ Do you charge extra for really messy cars?

We try to get as much done in the time allotted for your service (30 mins for a Basic Clean and 90 mins for a Premium Clean). If your car requires extra time beyond this to get it into sparkling condition, we will contact you before we begin work in order to authorize the extra charges for additional cleaning time.

Extra time may be required for:

  • Heavily soiled interiors.
  • Pet hair.
  • Removing personal items from the vehicle.

You can help us by removing large or heavy personal items from your car, but don’t stress about all the clutter! We are happy to organize everything we find, and try to be judicious in throwing out trash.

+ What Brake Services do you provide?

We offer: Brake Inspections, Brake Pad Replacements, Rotor Replacement, Caliper Service, and Fluid Service. You can learn more on our brake services page.

+ What kind of brakes to do you use and what is the warranty?

Zippity has partnered with Advance Auto Parts to provide factory authorized original equipment and parts. We use CarQuest Wearever brake pads, which are premium original equipment replacement brake pads with:

  • Superior stopping power.
  • A multi-lay SoundLock noise damping shim for ultra-quiet braking.
  • 12 Month, 12,000 mile warranty against manufacturer's defects.

+ What kind of wipers do you use?

We use CarQuest XtraClear line of wiper blades. The basic are a traditional style of wiper blade and the Premium is a beam style of blade. Learn more about the features of each type of blade on our Wipers page.

+ Do you replace starters?

It depends on the year, make, and model. Send us a message with details about your vehicle and we will respond immediately to let you know whether we can service your vehicle. We will also provide pricing.

Referral Program

+ How do I refer a friend?

Once you have booked a service with Zippity, you can refer friends and get a $20 Amazon gift card for every friend you refer! Your friend will also get 20% off their first oil change package. It’s a win-win for everyone. To get your referral code, go to and copy your unique referral code link. Send that link to your friends and their discount will automatically be applied if they use that link to book.

+ How do I use my referral code?

If your friend just sent you their referral link, simply copy and paste it into a browser and proceed to book your service using that link. Your discount (20% off on your first oil change package) will automatically be applied at checkout.
