Overview

Zippity is building the future of automotive car care and needs a highly motivated Director of Product Management to help make the vision a reality. This role will be responsible for identifying, defining, developing, and integrating innovative programs that lead to improvements in our consumer products and deliver a best in class customer experience. 

This role requires extensive coordination between departments, previous experience in product management, strong problem solving and analytical skills, and a passion for creating an above-and-beyond customer experience. Our ideal candidate will be the champion of the customer throughout the organization and will also play a key role in driving operational evolution, revenue, and profit growth at Zippity.

What you’ll do

  • Develop the vision and roadmap for Zippity’s end-to-end customer experience and consumer products.

  • Work cross-functionally with our Software Development, Operations, and Marketing teams to drive the development and launch of consumer oriented products and services

  • Use key metrics and data to forecast or report on success of product initiatives

  • Identify consumer pain points in the car maintenance experience and translate your findings into impactful product innovations or new programs

  • Identify and prioritize existing feature backlog as well as new market opportunities

  • Coordinate with Customer Service team to ensure consistent and excellent customer experience throughout the customer lifecycle

  • Build our product management group over time. Create and maintain a culture that has a fanatical focus on providing a best in class customer experience and take ownership in achieving key customer satisfaction goals

Your Experience/Qualifications

Zippity’s goal is to provide a transformative car maintenance experience and does so with a customer experience that spans both digital and physical realms. We are looking for someone with experience in product management and passion for creating engaging end-to-end user experience, both online and in person.

  • 3-5 years of product management and user experience design experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment

  • Outstanding judgment to optimize customer experience, product-market fit, and company metrics.

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, and ability to adapt style to work closely with varying personality types

  • Understand group dynamics and organize chaotic situations. Ability to balance and productively resolve contradictory demands and timelines in order to deliver against the company vision and goals.

  • Outstanding follow-up, organization, and program management skills

  • Experience using key performance metrics to drive business decisions and prioritize initiatives based 

  • Work ethic to do what it takes to ensure every customer has a great experience, which involves working with cross-functional teams and sometimes making fast decisions. Equally comfortable taking personal ownership for a task as delegating it.

  • An understanding of the company’s strategic position and overall industry trends and ability to use this information to build a best in class customer experience strategies
